Boon very kindly decided that he should treat us to dinner with his first paycheck. How generous! So we decided that we should leach every cent off that paycheck and have some Shanghai cuisine :).
The boss in the middle.

KaiAnn's little sister ChinAnn also joined in on the fun.

Aww...

The kiwi girl..

Leo and I

Jie Yi's attempt on being artistic with the yummy prawns. Looks more like Wil G and Audrey are covered in a huge pile of prawns.

Wine - a necessity for family celebrations

Kin and Ah Ma half awake!

Wil g and Ah Kong infront of someone's boat garage. Spot the massive houses in the background!

Sunrise! How pretty.. Neither of us can remember the last time we woke up early enough to see the sunrise.

Ah Kong and Ah Ma at the Beach with the Grandkids!
We decided to join Ah Kong one morning for his daily morning jog which turned into more of a slow walk rather. We had a heap of fun jumping over seaweeds and awing at expensive beach houses!

Ah Kong walking way ahead of us cos we were too slow!
We then walked to the flea market from the beach where Ah Kong and Ah Ma search for some cheap breakfast. We discovered the yummy churros which Ah Ma called "European you cha kuey". Ah Ma and Ah Kong were very shocked to see the prices of the cinamon swirls which were $2.30 each! What an expensive 'ham jing peang'!
I shall leave you with an exciting discovery at Auckland Airport while we were waiting for the family to arrive:
